Ed's Special Advice
Lettuce grows best in a mostly sunny location with fertile, well drained soil. Grow during the cooler parts of the growing season and keep fairly well watered. Provide light shade for warmer season plantings. Begin harvesting from 40 days after sowing. Sow successive crops at two week intervals until warm weather is expected.
