Ed's Special Advice

Endive benefits from well cultivated enriched soil. The entire plant can be harvested at once or the outer leaves can be used as needed. When plant nears maturity outer leaves can be gathered up and tied loosely over center of plant for blanching. Keep well watered during heat of summer. Protect from heavy rains in winter.
